About the Program
What is the RJCOLLAB+ Leadership Development Academy?
The Leadership Development Academy is a free, six-week training program designed to build practical organizing skills and leadership capacity. The program is grounded in Reproductive Justice values and prepares participants to take action within a coalition of leading RJ organizations.
Who is behind this program?
RJCOLLAB+ is a collaboration of four national Reproductive Justice organizations: In Our Own Voice: National Black Women's Reproductive Justice Agenda, National Latina Institute for Reproductive Justice, National Asian Pacific American Women's Forum (NAPAWF), and URGE: Unite for Reproductive & Gender Equity.
What is Reproductive Justice?
Reproductive Justice is a framework created by Black women that goes beyond single issues to address the intersecting struggles for racial, gender, economic, and climate justice. It recognizes the right to have children, not have children, and parent children in safe and healthy environments. This framework guides everything we teach in the Academy.
Is the program really free?
Yes. The Leadership Development Academy is completely free to participants. There are no hidden fees or costs.
